Unlike the “olden days”, a manual for a multi-user application gets put on the shelf behind the desk of the president. Moreover, your System Administrator/Owner can update all the pages to better fit their business. This manual is also Role-based and privilege-restricted; your Accountant will only see the sections applicable to the ‘Accountant’ role, and so on.

Yes. WIMP software is specifically devised to take orders via telephone or over the internet. Additionally, an order could also be taken on an iPad.

WIMP software comes with it’s own Web-based editable manual (printable material) is readily available, plus Internet/Phone training is at hand. On-site training is optional at an additional charge. (Travel expenses may apply.)
Does WIMP allow customers to track packages over the internet?
Yes. This is one of the crown jewels of the power of WIMP software. It can allow your customers to track their packages/documents on their own, in real-time, without phoning your company to ask the infamous question, “Where Is My Package? ™”. Furthermore, they would have limited information access, an access information level determined by your company.
Additionally, depending on the access level of your employee’s job status, you can provide a Status Update to the customer via email, print or fax.
Do you have any tools to help transfer our existing data?
We can import data in XML, CSV, or SQL, however if you are a Datatrac ™ or Ascar ™ client, we have tools to port a good portion of your data.
What type of database engine does WIMP run under?
WIMP software is powered by MySQL, which is famous for its speed and power. It offers performance which surpasses that of the “big iron” databases in many areas. Overall, it is second-to-none in terms of ease of access and flexibility.
How long does it take to transfer from our existing software to WIMP?
It takes about 1 to 3 days to get a system setup and running, depending on how much data needs to be imported and sophistication of your companies operation.
